Exploradores
Mientras que los Comandantes representan el peso y la fuerza del Clan Mantis, los Exploradores son como el rayo que siempre acompaña al Trueno. Son rápidos y mortíferos, ya sean los Arqueros Tsuruchi en la tierra o los Yoritomo Navales buscando y asegurando una playa desde el mar. Como la mayoría de Exploradores tendrán habitualmente menos Fuerza y coste de Oro y se basarán fundamentalmente en conocer el terreno por haber hecho un buen reconocimiento del mismo – por tierra o por mar. Se diferenciarán porque usarán ese conocimiento para sacar rápidamente más y más tropas al campo de batalla y abrumar al enemigo antes de que estos estén preparados, usando arqueros y una magnífica armada.
La forma principal de victoria de los Exploradores Mantis será la militar.
Comandantes
Como todos los demás Comandantes, los Mantis se concentrarán en manipular las demás tropas de su ejército. Se diferenciarán de los demás Clanes ya que sus habilidades se basan en sacar lo mejor de sus seguidores. Esto se puede representar a través de la habilidad de su armada para desplegar y usar las tropas con mayor eficacia, o a través de trabajar con mayor efectividad con sus seguidores. Estas unidades representan el poder de los Mantis, la fuerte y dominante voluntad del propio Yoritomo para unir a los demás en una sola y efectiva fuerza.

Trueno
